Hayao Miyazaki still has it! Ponyo On The Cliff by The Sea is really amazing. This is what the essence of watching anime is all about: to see drawings come to life before your eyes as they tell a story. With all the new stuff coming out peppered with cg stuff, it's really nice to see Miyazaki go back to the true basics. Read somewhere the man did all the water scenes for the whole movie. The man's obsessed, hehe!
Can't wait for a good sub to come out. i just read off the movie's gist but i'll definitely be getting this so my kids can watch it! ( this is not exactly toei news, but hey, we're talking about the main man here! 'Sides, tons of great stuff outside the shell, so enjoy all of it, di ba? )
